Specification of Cation resin Lewatit S-108 Monoplus

Sell ​​Cation resin Lewatit MonoPlus S 108 is used for demineralization resin.

The Lewatit® MonoPlus S 108 cation resin is a very acidic gel-type cation exchange resin, in the form of Na with uniform size (monodisperse) granules based on styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer. Due to a special manufacturing process, this type of resin is highly resistant to chemical, osmotic and mechanical stress. That leads to extremely low leachables even in critical conditions such as higher temperatures, presence of oxidants (02, Fe-oxide) and external regeneration processes. Even at very short cycle times (one cycle = service + regeneration) the special ion-exchange resin matrix causes long life cycles in the demineralization process. The high total capacity results in high operating capacity with very low ion leakage and very high regenerant utilization.
Lewatit® MonoPlus S 108 
Cation Resin is suitable for:
»Demineralization of water for power plants operated by co-current or modern counter current systems such as the WS Pass System, the Liftbed Pass System or the Rinsebed Pass System
»Operation using the Lewatit Multistep System or a conventional mixed bed arrangement using the following anion components: Lewatit® MonoPlus M 500 MB, Lewatit® MonoPlus M 800, Lewatit® MonoPlus M 600, Lewatit® MonoPlus MP 500, Lewatit® MonoPlus MP 500 800 and Lewatit® MonoPlus MP 600.
 The Lewatit® MonoPlus S 108 adds special features to the resin bed:
»High flow rate during regeneration and loading
»High operating capacity with low regenerant consumption
»Low need for rinse water
»Homogeneous output of regenerants, water and solutions, resulting in a homogeneous operating zone
