OPERATIONAL STEPS pH and TDS monitors:
1. Remove the electrode protective cover, connect the pH electrode to the relative electrode socket.
2. Wash the electrodes in distilled water and dry them with filter paper.
3. Press "Power" to turn on
4. Install the pH electrode, the TDS electrode into the liquid to be tested, and mix well. Press "TDS / pH" to select "TDS" or "pH", wait until the digital is stable, read the final value.
5. After using, wash the electrode, press "Power" to turn off, attach the protective cover.
pH CALIBRATION:
1. Dip the electrode pH to pH 6.86 (below 25 ° C), standard phosphate liquid, mix well.
2. Press "TDS / pH" to select "pH", set trimmer "pH7" with a screwdriver until the value of the buffer solution is in accordance with the temperature of the measurement obtained.
3. Soak the electrode at pH4.01 or pH9.18 standard borax buffer solution. After about one minute, until the value of the buffer solution matches the measurement temperature obtained.
4. The value of the solution and the value of the buffer solution are within the range of errors.
In the following situations, the device must be recalibrated.
• Electrodes are placed into new ones
• Has been used (or placed) for a long time after calibration.
• Electrodes are very often used.
• High accuracy is needed.
ATTENTION:
1. When testing, please stir the electrode, and avoid bubbles on it. Other things will affect the results.
2. If the error is too large or the TDS value will not return to 0, dip the TDS electrode into ethyl alcohol and shake it 5-10 seconds to wash the electrode.
Battery installation:
If the screen is dark or blurry, or the error is large, the battery must be replaced. Just take out the battery and replace it. Pay attention to the direction. If you use it for a long time, contact the power adapter.
