Specification of Hydrometer Measuring Liquid Specific Gravity
Selling HYDROMETER Water Quality Test Equipment
Hydrometer Is a device used to measure the specific gravity of water density, using a ratio of liquid density together with water density. Hydrometers can be easily calibrated for different uses. For example, the hydrometer is used in liquid milk to see how dense the cream content is in milk, used to measure how dense the sugar content is in the liquid.
Some materials and materials for making or assembling hydrometers require glass which contains cylindrical rods and a ball weighing in with mercury liquid to make it float upright.
To measure a liquid, a container filled with liquid is needed. Then a hydrometer is dropped into the container, until it enters the water and reaches the bottom of the liquid container. In this way, the hydrometer will know the density of the liquid or the density of the water being tested. Depending on the context, various density scales with hydrometry can be measured properly.
Also if you use the principle of understanding the measurement of fluids using a hydrometer based on Archimedes, fluids with fluids will be given strength by the weight of the fluid that moves. Thus, the higher the density of the liquid, the sinking the hydrometer will decrease.
The hydrometer has a size like a cylindrical tube, a length that resembles a flute, and in it there is a kind of perpendicular pull line. In this way the weight of a liquid can be determined. And if the hydrometry device is placed in a tube filled with liquid, it will be easy to calculate the density of the liquid in this way.
How to Read a Hydrometer
Measuring a liquid's density with a hydrometer is very easy, just by reading the scale on the hydrometer listed. The results shown from the hydrometer are the scale numbers where the scale is shown by the moving fluid in the hydrometer. Then the units that have been shown at the mass of the unit from the measurement with the hydrometer are the g cm-3 type units.
