Corrosion inhibitors for Boiler Water Systems
1.0- Introduction
ROJEN B-35 boiler chemicals is a solution of pure alkali. It is used to raise
the pH of feedwater and maintain the alkalinity of boiler water. Feedwater pH
adjustment is needed to control corrosion. Adequate boiler water alkalinity is
required to cause precipitation of calcium and magnesium hardness as the
desired sludges and to prevent corrosion.

5.0- Primary Application
ROJEN B-35 should be continuously metered as a solution to
the preboiler section or directly to the boiler. This product may be mixed with
other boiler water treatment chemicals.
6.0- Feeding & Control
Equipment to determine Hydrate alkalinity method and the pH
of boiler feedwater is needed for dosage regulation. The dosage of ROJEN B-35
is adjusted to typically maintain the desired excess of hydrate
alkalinity in the boiler water.
