ACIDITY TEST KIT HI 3820
HI 3820 Acidity test kit used to test the acidity of the water sample by strong acid or organic acid.
With the use of dilute sodium hydroxide as titran and bromphenol blue or phenolphthalein as an indicator, then the strong acid or organic content can be determined. Strong acid measurement for the acidity of the samples is knownas the acidity of the methyl orange. This is done by titration with sodium hydroxide until the solution changes from yellow to green/blue (pH final point about 4.5). The total acidity is caused by mineral and organic acids are either determined by titration to pH 8.3, the end point of use becomes as an indicator. This is known as phenolphthalein inacidity.
