Centrifugal pumps are the most widely used type of pump in the world. The principle is simple, well explained and thoroughly tested, and this pump is strong, effective, and relatively inexpensive to produce.
Increased fluid pressure from the pump inlet to the outlet is made when the pump is operating. This pressure difference drives fluid through the system or installation.
Centrifugal pumps create increased pressure by transferring mechanical energy from the motor to the fluid through a rotating impeller. Fluid flows from the inlet to the center of the impeller and exits along the blade. This centrifugal force increases the speed of the fluid and consequently the kinetic energy is converted into pressure
